I am in strong opposition to the development of this land along the Eno river. The potential - more like
guaranteed - impact to water quality in the river due to urban runoff alone should have shut this project down
long ago. Approving this project would be extremely unwise not to mention unpopular, I don't think I've talked to a
single person in Durham so far who isn't in strong opposition. The facts are clear, responsibly the project needs
to be scrapped or at the very least completely restructured to address the many environmental and community
concerns of which you are undoubtedly aware. This is not the same thing as approving a project to redevelop
land already part of Durham's urban sphere, this is one of our most cherished natural spaces. I hope that you will
let the facts speak for themselves.
