I'm a Durham native, born at Durham Regional (now Duke Regional) a short distance from West Point on the
Eno, and my family and I still live here in North Durham. I have spent countless hours playing, swimming,
kayaking, running, and hiking this part of the Eno from my childhood through the present, and it is one of my
favorite things about Durham that I hope will be fiercely protected for generations to come. This project has been
pushed forward without appropriate input from the public, and many Durham residents like myself have
significant concerns about the impact this development will have on our natural areas, water quality, and road
traffic in an area already plagued by congestion and accidents.
