The Eno river is a foundational feature of the Durham landscape and must be protected. This housing
development would be harmful to the Eno river itself, and to Durham citizens, who rely on the Eno river as a
recreational site and as the base of a number of ecosystems. I urge the city of Durham to consider the extinction
rate of amphibians around the world as developments like this one damage and destroy aquatic ecosystems.
Once amphibians are gone, they do not come back, and they cannot be replaced. Please protect our wildlife and
our natural resources in Durham, and deny this project a Clean Water Act Permit.
