I understand that the developers have requested a permit that does not require US Army Corps of Engineers.
Also that the development proposes a considerable amount of high density housing, even though the City of
Durham has designated this area as low -density, due to water quality concerns for our city's water supply.
While I am in no way qualified to assess the environmental impact this project would have, it seems to fly in the
face of every pro -environment effort made in recent years.
