I emphatically disagree with this project. West Point on the Eno park is a historically significant Durham treasure
that should not be allowed to be destroyed. Flora, fauna, humans — living creatures call this home. All senses
employed while enjoying the park will be tainted or destroyed if this project is allowed to go on. The sound of the
park and forest will change, the smell of the forest and park and the views within the park will change. It will feel
different driving past rows of condos. (Does Durham really need more condos?) And it will leave a bad taste in
the mouths of the thousands of Durham residents who love and cherish West Point on the Eno. No, no, no! Go
away developers and ruin your own backyard.
