Dear Water Resources,
The Eno River Development represents a threat to Durham and Raleigh's clean water, a threat to protected
species that live on the river, and a severe flooding threat to the residential properties that already surround the
river. The 400 luxury condos will do nothing to ameliorate the severe housing crisis in out city, but will pollute one
of the cleanest greenest recreational spaces that Durham has. I am also concerned that this development will cut
off access to the city's historical patrimony of Holman family cemetery, which should be protected and open to
the public particularly Durham's African -American community. As a concerned citizen of Durham, I urge the
water resources department to consider the huge environmental impacts this project will have on the whole city
and deny the development a clean water permit.
