peaking factor over a period of 8 hours, the peak influent rate is 9.4 gallons per minute (GPM). The
pump station has been designed to operate at 13.6 GPM and 27 feet of total dynamic head (TDH)
utilizing dual 1 HP submersible grinder pumps.
The following Fast-Track Sewer System Extension Application includes one original and one copy of
the following:
1. A check for$480.00 payable to NCDEQ,
2. Fast-Track Sewer System Extension Application (FTA 06-21),

Mr.Vinson,
Wilson Community College has a backup power source (portable generator)for the pump station to be
installed at the new Building S Lee Technology Center campus location, Wilson, North Carolina. The
portable generator has sufficient capacity to supply power to the pump station in case of a power
outage. The portable power generation unit, associated appurtenances and personnel are available for
distribution and operation of this pump station. The portable generator has a quick connect and manual
activation and will be stored for use when there is a power loss. The pump station itself will have a
control panel with telemetry and be able to send alarms for power outages or other failures. The
portable generator is stored on the Wilson Community College's main campus and can be mobilized and
on-site within 15 minutes of notification.
If you have any questions or need additional information, feel free to contact me at (252) 289-5149 or
