Hey Raymond,
DWR has reviewed the Year 2 Monitoring Report for the GUC Site (DWR ID# 2017-1122v2).
Data provided in the report indicates mortality on a large portion of the site but more plots
met performance criteria this year vs last year. RS has been diligent at performing necessary
measures to determine potential problems and remediating those problems where possible.
RS also fully implemented an aggressive Adaptive Management Plan in Winter/Spring 2021.
RS needs to visually monitor the site closely this Spring/Summer. If by year 3 RS notices a
downward trend in mortality among planted stems and a continued absence of volunteers, RS
and DWR will need to discuss further AMP goals. Thank you for your efforts during monitoring
Year 1 & 2. By copy of this correspondence DWR approves the Year 2 Monitoring Report.

Please provide confirmation of bond renewal through next year’s monitoring period. Once I
receive your bond renewal, I can proceed issuing the credit release for this task.

DWR does not authorize a reduction of the current bond amount at this time.
