From Rt 24/27 at Swift Island, take River Road north. Turn left into
Woodrun subdivison. Past guard house take Woodrun Drive to Skyland
Drive and turn left. Skyland Drive to Sleepy Hollow Ln. Turn Left onto
Sleepy Hollow Ln. Take road to it's end (near end there is a curve to right;
road actually changes name here to Tillery Ct though there is no sign for
this. 180 Tillery Court is at end of cul-de-sac; house number marker is at
the roadside.

5. Describe the existing land use or condition of the site at the time of this application: *
We have 135 feet of lake front and have had wooden retaining wall for
over 17 yrs (we purchased property in 2014). Time, water and muskrats
have eroded retaining wall and it is now truly disintegrating in several
places causing erosion of our yard that is progressing. There are several
holes and eroded areas in the grassy yard.

why it is necessary):
Replacing current wooden retaining wall (135 ft) is necessary to protect
our property. Current wooden vertical wall will be removed and replaced
with small/medium stone to stabilize the shoreline and prevent further
damage to the property.

There is approximately 25 feet of scrub vegetation on the extreme north
side of the shoreline (left in attached pictures) that my be disturbed by the
removal of current retaining wall and placement of rock wall. No trees
will be cut/disturbed.

application fee is as follows (pursuant to G.S. 143-215.3D):
a $240.00 for impacts to lake (below normal water level) of less than 1 acre
a $570.00 for impacts to lake (below normal water level) of greater or equal to 1 acre
