To whom it may concern;
Our office works in conjuction with the Jackson County Planning Office to review new projects for compliance
with the storinwater standards of any regulated district within the County and the above mentioned project falls
within the jurisdiction of the Cashiers Commercial Area Land Development Ordinance. Our office has found
this prqject to be compliant with the storinwater standards within the Ordinance (our approved Land
Development Permit is attached), but please keep in mind that additional storinwater permitting will be required
with the State.
As of April 1, 2019, all new construction activities are required to complete and submit an electronic Notice of
Intent (NOI) form requesting a Certificate of Coverage (COC) under the NCGO 10000 Construction Stormwater
General Permit. This form MUST be submitted prior to the commencement of any land disturbing activity on
the above named project. The NOI forni may be accessed at
Our office has, additionally, issued a Floodplain Permit for the proJect and a copy of that approval is attached
along with a copy of your zoning approval from the Planning Office. Both of our offices will monitor the site
during construction and will have to sign off on the site before a Certificate of Occupancy (C/O) can be issued.
