Tank Farm Remedial Action System Please see attached for the groundwater monitoring report associated with Injection Well Permit #W10700012 and the Tank Farm Remedial Action Plan. This report includes the sampling and reporting requirements of the above referenced permit as well as the reporting requirements of the Tank Farm Remedial Action Plan. Enclosed are a) piezometer level monitoring field sheet and b) the operational and maintenance report. The withdrawal system underwent scheduled maintenance repairs during the reporting quarter. PCS PHOSPHATE - TANK FARM REMEDIAL ACTION PLAN QUARTERLY OPERATIONAL AND MAINTENANCE REPORT FOR THE INJECTION AND WITHDRAWAL WATER WELLS November 2021 — January 2022 The Tank Farm Remediation System consists of a series of seven- (7) injection water wells located on the south side of the Tank Farm Area and a series of fourteen (14) withdrawal water wells located on the north side of the Tank Farm Area. Injection Water Well System The injection water well system operated with the DPW Water - Ultraviolet Light Disinfection system during the period. Daily operational data are collected by the Shipping Department and reported to the Environmental Affairs Department. The total monthly and quarterly volumes of water injected as well as the month end water level in the Water Level Control Tank are: DPW WATER GALLONS TOTAL GALLONS AVERAGE GPM TANK LEVEL FEET, MSL November 0 0 0 0.0 15.0 December 86,572 0 86,572 1.9 15.0 January 295,574 0 295,574 6.6 15.0 TOTALS 1,034,314 0 1,034,314 10/29/2021—The Injection Water Well System was taken out of service to perform any necessary maintenance during the downtime on the Withdrawal Well System. 12/20/2021—The Injection Water Well System was placed back in service. 2 Withdrawal Well S. stem The withdrawal water well pumps are monitored daily by the area Maintenance Department and preventative maintenance work is performed as needed. The total monthly and quarterly withdrawal water volumes for the period are: SAND FORMATION GALLONS CROATAN FORMATION GALLONS TOTAL GALLONS AVERAGE GPM November 0 0 0 0 December 0 0 0 0 January 0 0 0 0 TOTALS 0 0 0 10/29/2021—Pumps were removed from all withdrawal wells to allow for washing and brushing the screened intervals. 11/18/2021—Static water level study completed to determine proper pump depth. During the maintenance activities, it was determined that 5 withdrawal wells (identified below) were non -operational. An application to construction 5 recovery wells to replace the wells identified as non- operational was completed and submitted for approval. O1/27/2022—Received Permit No. WR0700823 to construct the 5 replacement recovery wells. 02/O1/2022 Drilling began. 02/08/2022—Drilling completed 02/10/2022—Stainless steel risers and lockable lids were installed on the 5 replacement wells. Maintenance personnel are preparing to reinstall the withdrawal well pumps. An in -line flow meter has been installed to trial for accuracy and reliability in measuring withdrawal volumes.
