Schedule of events:
1) 02/14/2022 City of Raleigh notified a Glen Royal Lessee Mechworks that there was an
overflow problem coming from a clean out access on the property. Meckworks had already
notified Unifour Properties of a sewer blockage in the building. A plumbing Company
(Plumbcraft, Plumbing and Drains LLC) and plumber Shawn responded and cleared the line.
A camera was run to see if there were obstructions and none were observed. At the street
of 3200 Glen Royal Road a belly 10 feet long was observed at a depth of 7 feet. Plumber
bill was $ 266.88. SEE ATTACHED INVOICE.
2) 02/18/2022 City of Raleigh Engineer Stephen leltema responded to 3200 Glen Royal Road
to inspect our compliance. At that time, he found us to be in compliance. SEE ATTACHED
LETTER.
3) 02/18/2022 Received certified mail (# 7020 3160 0000 4109 5176) from Water Quality
Regional Operations with a subject of notice of violation Tracking number NOV-2022-DV-
0048, Incident number202200100 dated 01/14/2022 3200 Glen Royal Road blocked clean
out. We didn't realize the responsibility of a report to the state of North Carolina until
02/18/2022.
4) 02/21/2022 Responding letter to the Water Quality Regional Operation Section, Raleigh
Regional Office Division of Water Resources, NCDEQ authored by Paul M Douglas Project

5) 02/22/2022 Sent this letter certified mail to the Water Quality Regional Operation Section,

6) 02/22/2022 Sent email duplicate of this letter to the Water Quality Regional Operation
Section, Raleigh Regional Office Division of Water Resources, NCDEQ in PDF form with the
two attachments included.

Subject: Compliance Notice for Illegal Discharge at 3200 Glen Royal Road
To Whom it May Concern:
The City of Raleigh's Stormwater Management Division inspected your property at 3200 Glen Royal
Road on January 18, 2022 and determined that it is now in compliance with the City of Raleigh's
Illicit Discharge Ordinance.
Please note that this notification does not excuse any future violations and follow-up investigations
may be conducted by City staff to ensure that you remain in compliance. We encourage you to
regularly check your property for potential stormwater pollution issues.
If you see stormwater pollution and would like the City to investigate, please do not hesitate to
contact the Stormwater Management Division at 919-996-3940 or Illegal Discharge aC-raleighnC.gov.
