Mr. Johnson,
I'm attempting to upload a drawing file with our response to your online portal, but the link sent to us is not working. Is
there another way to get this file to your group for review? I've attached the pdf here.
Many Thanks,

Hi again Mr. Johnson!
Many of our team are out of town or frantically preparing for Christmas! We also will be traveling for the balance of
December, I didn't want to leave this hanging until our return.
This photo gives a good representation of how the shoreline was when we purchased the property. I've also attached a
couple of surveys.
irrespective of your department's final ruling, we wish you, your family, colleagues and friends a SAFE, JOYFUL holiday!

Good afternoon Mr. Johnson!
No matter how hard I try, my gmail-based email doesn't want to display a chronological record of our
conversation...it's maddening!
I have given our builder & groundskeeping teams to immediately remove the pavers that are in the 30' buffer, except
where they connect the path to pier/dock.

Regarding the relocating and/or reconfiguring the small lounge structure, is there a means by which we can appeal
your agency's initial ruling? We'd welcome the opportunity supply numerous historic photographs as well as the site
survey which were part of the land -purchase's documentation. Not knowing how far back you're looking, but we
removed a 15' concrete "apron" which traced the waterline. I was closer to FIFTY feet where the path met the watier
on the neighboring parcel. We intend to further stabilize the combined shoreline of the two parcels under our
control.
If an appeal isn't an option, is there the means by which to apply for a variance? We really did renovate that spot in
good -faith, believing this gazebo was "grandfathered-in" to use layman's terms! We took measures to ensure the
footprint at the base did not grow!
We know that Saturday's Christmas & our various crews' staff seems minimal, we don't realistically expect the pavers
to be removed until the first or second week of January.
If this message catches you in & out of the office, we wish you a safe and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Dr. Mr. Johnson,
I'm writing you regarding 150 Travis Pointe Dr. (Copy of the notice included as an attachment to this email)
Thank you for speaking with me Monday morning, I'm including photos as promised during our conversation.

We believed that the paver pathways we had incorporated to traverse the yard were quite permeable --- They allow
for normal absorption and runoff in the lakeside area. Heck we were adamant that ALL the paths on the property
were permeable, regardless of whether they were in the buffer zone or not. NO CONCRETE was used in the
installation of the cobblestone -like paths, they are sand -set with a bed of fine gravel to ensure a porous material
from ALL directions.
M
I have also attached photos of the structures noted in the aerial photos. The "lounge" (structure 1) was in
existence when we purchased the property, although it was thoroughly renovated. The "Kayak Rack" (structure/roof
2) was intended to provide both convenience & aesthetically -pleasing appearance rather than the chaos of all those
vessels strewn around the water's edge.
What looks like a "natural area" (your words) on your aerial/Google Earth photos is the canopy of a stand of ancient
poplar trees that died of natural causes. (much to our disappointment -- we remain heartbroken) Their absence is
by neither desire or design, My wife's uncle planted them 50+ years ago and we still mourn their passing! This
property was originally built on by my wife's uncle's family, it was sold to a third party in the 1980's, and was
brought back INTO the family in 2016.
M
Per your suggestion, we will take measures to add more natural landscaping, we're working on a design to enhance
the appearance of our property. As promised, I am TRYING to attach photos & video to assist you with your
assessment.
THANKS in advance for your consideration!
M
