GENERAL NOTES
1. CONSTRUCTION OF THIS PROJECT SHALL BE PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CURRENT EDITION OF THE
NORTH CAROLINA EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL PLANNING AND DESIGN MANUAL. ALL WORK SHALL BE
PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NORTH CAROLINA OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY LAWS. ALL MATERIAL USED ON THIS
PROJECT SHALL BE APPROVED BY THE COUNTY.
2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THE LOCATION OF EXISTING UTILITIES BY CONTACTING NC811 (1-800-632-4949)
72 HOURS PRIOR TO THE START OF CONSTRUCTION. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO REFERENCE AND
MAINTAIN THE LOCATION MARKINGS DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE PROJECT. IN THE EVENT THAT A UTILITY
LOCATION NEEDS TO BE RE-ESTABLISHED, THE COST TO PROVIDE THIS SHALL BE BORNE BY THE CONTRACTOR.
3. EXISTING UTILITIES ARE SHOWN FOR THE CONVENIENCE OF THE CONTRACTOR AND THE COMPLETENESS OR ACCURACY
OF THE SAME IS NOT GUARANTEED. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL DETERMINE THE LOCATION AND ELEVATION OF THE
EXISTING UTILITIES BEFORE TRENCH EXCAVATION BEGINS. THEY SHALL PROTECT SERVICE CONNECTIONS AND MAINTAIN
THEIR UNINTERRUPTED SERVICE. ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE REPAIRED IMMEDIATELY. THE
COST OF SUCH REPAIRS SHALL BE BORNE BY THE CONTRACTOR.
4. ALL STAKING, RESTAKING, AND CUTSHEETS SHALL BE PERFORMED BY A REGISTERED LAND SURVEYOR OR
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER AT THE CONTRACTOR'S EXPENSE, INCLUDING SERVICE CONNECTIONS.

2. PRELIMINARY WETLANDS EVALUATION WAS PERFORMED BY WETLAND SOLUTIONS, LLC.
