Good afternoon Brandee and Sue,
With regard to the permits for Partin Solar (SAW-2019-01186 / SAW-2018-02237 / DWR# 20201834), the second stream
crossing has now also been resurveyed, resulting in slight changes to the plans for Culvert #2.
While the LOD remains the same,
• The culvert slope has been reduced from 9.17% to 7.56% and the pipe length has been reduced from 108 feet to
102 feet
• Permanent stream impacts remain the same, but Permanent — No Loss stream impacts have been reduced from
21-I.f. (0.001-ac.) to 15-I.f. (0.001-ac.)
• Permanent wetland impacts have been reduced from 788-sq.ft. (0.018-ac.) to 672-sq.ft. (0.016-ac.)
• Temporary wetland impacts have increased from 109-sq.ft. (0.003-ac.) to 225-sq.ft. (0.005-ac.)
The updated plans for Culvert #2, dated 2022.02.25, as well as the older exhibit, dated 2021.10.25, are attached.
Are the contractors okay to proceed with construction of the crossing using the new design?

This email is regarding the permit verification for the Partin Solar project (SAW 2019-01186 / SAW 2018-02237; DWR#
20201834).
Because of a re -survey, the plans for Culvert #1 have changed slightly. The new survey provided elevations about 2.5
feet lower than the initial surveys. The designers revised the grades and lowered the culvert inverts to accommodate the
new survey. The total overall impacts remain the same (116 linear feet), but the amount of permanent vs. permanent
no -loss impacts shifted:
• A reduction of permanent stream impact from 108 linear feet / 553 square feet to 105 linear feet / 533 square
feet
• An increase of permanent -no loss stream impacts from 8 linear feet / 40 square feet to 11 linear feet / 60 square
feet
I have attached the updated Culvert #1 exhibit to this email (and the older one as well, dated 2021.10.25).
The contractors are hoping to begin constructing this culvert later this week. Are they okay to proceed with the new
design?
