It was built with a 6" CMP discharge pipe. The pipe has rusted and is in need of replacement before it does fail and causes the impoundment to be compromised. The owner wishes to construct a new discharge line made out of PVC or HDPE. The new pipe will be installed above the existing sediment level in the pond. Then the existing CMP will be grouted closed.
