The streambed is at a greater depth than surveyed requiring a greater angle for the jack and bore and also they have encountered bedrock at depth that impacts the jack and bore method. They are proposing to reduce the casing pipe from 24-inches to 12-inches but request to temporarily disturb the stream/streambed with an open cut. They are anticipating an approximate width of temporary disturbance of 10 feet over a 5 -foot-wide section of streambed. They will be utilizing a pump around to maintain the stream hydrology with other soil erosion measure already in place to avoid/minimize sedimentation downstream. Attached to this request are sheets C110 — Sanitary Sewer Plan and Profile, EC103 — Erosion Control Stream Crossing and EC202 - Erosion Control Details.
