Box 2522, Wilmington, NC 28402 Surf City Market Proposed Revision to the Site Plan The NC Division of Water Quality issued a 401 Water Quality Certification on July 27, 2007 for 4.58 acres of proposed wetland impacts within the Surf City Market site. After this Certification was issued, it was discovered that the site plan did not show a ditch classified as Waters of the U.S. Additionally, this impact was not calculated into the proposed wetland/Waters of the U.S. impacts. The site plan has been revised to show the ditch (enclosed). The ditch is approximately 400 feet in length and an average of 3 feet wide. This increases total impacts from 4.58 acres to 4.61 acres. The applicant formally requests that the 401 Water Quality Certification be modified to reflect the new impact acreage and the new mitigation requirements. :ani'u.l~ ~anJ ...... ..
