Hi Shelton,
The owner is Jennifer Bruce, formally Jennifer Bost.
Yes, this is dredging only, without shoreline stabilization.
The purpose of the dredging is to obtain an 8ft water depth at 75ft out from the high water mark, which is the minimum
water depth required by Alcoa for a pier permit. We currently have only 6.5ft of depth & Alcoa will not issue a pier
permit.
Boat access is actually not the main purpose behind the dredging request.
The pier requirements do specify a maximum of 75ft long. Alcoa will approve a 75 ft length, if the minimum 8ft water
depth is reached.
