Stormwater Modification Narrative
July 2020
This project involves a proposed building addition on the existing property of the Team
Chevrolet dealership in Swansboro (Previously Stevenson Chevy Swansboro). The project site is
located along Hwy 24, approximately 1,300 ft east of the intersection between Hwy 24 and SR
1434. This addition will only modify a portion of the future BUA from the existing SW Permit
(SW8 130913). The proposed building addition is located in the existing parking area and the
additional runoff will be routed along existing grades/conveyances of the existing parking lot and
existing ditches. The addition will not change the drainage or how the runoff is currently
conveyed to the permitted wetland. The existing wetland has already been designed and
permitted to have the capacity to accommodate this additional BUA. Please refer to the attached
plans for additional information on the modification.
