Subject:Update for GES on Contentnea Tracts
Attachments:BPDP Excerpt.pdf; 12-7-11 letter from DWR.pdf
Hey Jeff,
After further investigation into the CLCP file regarding the CLCP tracts that don’t have easements yet (L-1, L-2, L-10, & L-
11), here is what I found and need:
see letter dated 12/7/11 from DWR, attached to this email, regarding replanting needed for the L-2 tract (I
underlined the specific need)
see letter dated 12/7/11 from DWR, attached to this email, regarding the need of a compilation of all monitoring
data (all 5 years it was collected – 2008, 2009, 2011 (2 reports/June data and December data) & 2012) for all
four of these tracts in a separate report
need a signed conservation easement which has to include a survey of the tracts being put under the easement.
this survey must be filed with the easement at the Register of Deeds office.
please see the attached document (BPDP excerpt) that shows the crediting that would be applied for all 4 tracts
if all things needed above are received and verified.
Hope this helps answer your questions.
Thanks,
Katie

Hi Jeff,
I am investigating your request for information on the following tracts: L-1, L-2, L-10, & L-11. I will get back to you as
soon as I can on whether these tracts are available for immediate credit releases. I am missing some information, so I’m
trying to find where that stuff is prior to my response to your questions. Also, I am in the process of providing a
response to you based on your concerns of the minimum and maximum performance bond amounts written in your
letter to Assistant Secretary Mitch Gillespie. Per Mr. Gillespie’s response letter to you, I will be getting in touch with you
soon regarding those concerns and discuss the appropriate actions.
Thank You,
Katie

GES will miss your prompt and outstanding customer service. One issue I need some help with is the
Neuse 02 expansion.. As I mentioned we have several tracts ( see letter from Cindy RE Credit
Release for Little Cont Bank ) that have been monitored for 5 yr and have met our UMBI
requirements except for being placed in an easement. We have now reached agreement with the
land owner to include several of these tracks in our bank.. My plan is to file a conservation easement
for these tracks and forward the easement to your office.. Will we receive credits using this process
?? THANKSS

leave update
Hey Guys,
I just wanted to give you all a heads up, that I will be on maternity leave June – September (right after labor
day). If there is anything you need prior to my leave, please don’t hesitate to let me know. Also, my last day
performing site visits is April 17, 2014. Eric Kulz will be temporarily assisting bankers until my return.
Thanks,
Katie
