the permit is no longer needed, NPDES Permit No. NCGO40169 will be rescinded.

Enclosed are copies of invoices received for two stormwater permit renewals for the two
referenced facilities. Please note that Georgia-Pacific no longer owns or operates either
of these facilities. The Bryson City facility (Permit No. COC NCG040283, Swain County)
was relinquished from G-P control and has not been operated by the corporation since
1996: The Marion facility (Permit No. COC NCG040169, McDowell County) was sold by
Georgia-Pacific to another corporation in December, 1997. The Asheville- Regional
Office of DENR has been informed of these changes.
Georgia-Pacific does not wish to renew these permits for the above reasons. Please
make note of these changes -in your files.
