General Project Narrative:
This project replaces existing BR #160026, 3 Span @ 52' -5" (1 @17' -711, 1 @17' -1 ", 1 @17' -9 "), Timber Deck on Timber Joists, timber caps, piles and bulkheads, 20' -1" Bridge
Width out to out with a Single Span @ 85' -0" (1 @85' -011), 33" Box Beam, Spill Thru Abutments, 30' Bridge Width out to out. No deck drains will be required. There is a slight
increase in the impervious area of the project, however, there is no real increase in drainage due to the increased impervious area. Runoff from the bridge will be captured
and discharged into a rip rap pad outside of Buffer Zone 2. The discharge velocity from the rip rap pad is non - erosive at 0.8 fps.
