RE: Jurisdictional Wetland investigation/delineation for a —20.95-acre parcel
located at Wade Stephenson Road in Holly Springs, NC (Harnett County PIN
90635-07-4357)
Mr. Stephenson,
Adams Soil Consulting (ASC) conducted a wetland investigation/delineation on
the above referenced parcel to determine the areas of jurisdictional wetlands. The
site evaluation was performed in compliance with the 1987 U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers (USACE) Wetland Delineation Manual of the U.S. The entire site was
investigated. A site map was generated for the project in that shows the
jurisdictional wetlands that were found on the subject property as defined by the
1987 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Wetland Delineation Manual of
the U.S.
The wetland boundary was marked on the site with pink and black -flagging
ribbon. The attached wetland map does not represent a jurisdictional
determination by the USACE. A formal USACE determination may be required
depending on future site plans.
The field investigation included evaluation of the property area to identify areas
exhibiting wetland criteria. The criteria used are based on the identification of the
following characteristics in accordance with the 1987 USACE manual:
1. The presence of Hydrophytic vegetation.
2. The presence of wetland hydrology
3. The presence of hydric soil indicators.
The nature of the wetland investigation/delineation was preliminary in nature. If
