The Division of Water Resources received the Year 2 Monitoring Report for the above - referenced site,
dated December 13, 2013.
Based on review of the monitoring report, streams at the site appear to be generally stable with isolated
areas of erosion, aggradation and downcutting. No significant problem areas were identified.
Monitoring of the wetland mitigation site showed that all hydrology monitoring gauges met performance
standards for 2013.
Vegetation monitoring data for 2013 show that 33 of 35 monitoring plots met performance standards.
The two plots not meeting the standards are both located on the south side of the wetland mitigation site.
The Sponsor indicted that they will evaluate areas with low stem counts for supplementalplanting in
winter of 2013.
In addition, isolated areas of invasives were identified on the stream mitigation site. The Sponsor
indicated these will be monitored to determine if treatment is warranted.
Several areas along the stream mitigation reaches were shown to have reduced or no credit due to
easement width or utility corridors. The northern upstream portion oflrwin Creek appears to be close to
or along the western property line; however, no reduction of credit in this area is shown. Please clam.
