Andy covered the RGP 50, below are some key points:  Page 5, condition 5: culvert going from stream to a wetland is to be placed @ grade (do not bury). Reference permit drawing sheet 10 of 15, site 5.  Page 8-9 o Section 2- use filter cloth under riprap o Section 7- Do not use broken concrete o Reference permit drawing sheet 4 of 15: at Site 3, the rip rap ditch must be embedded into the ditch. It should also be surveyed to ensure the top of the riprap is placed at the natural streambed elevation. o Condition n- do not over widen the stream channel, and make sure to work “in the dry”.  Page 12, condition 2a: be mindful and coordinate with Amy.  Page 15: no new endangered species  Page 17: no historical properties  Page 19-20, sections bb, cc, and hh: fill material must be clean and free of pollutants and the excavated material must be disposed in approved upland disposal areas. Also, use mats to minimize soil disturbance when using heavy equipment. Dave covered the 401 Water Quality Cert:  Equipment must me maintained and not leaking any fluids  Keep up with NPDES inspections. There have been issues with not inspecting once a week or after 1” of rainfall  DOT needs to be notified is any sediment gets into a wetland  Smith-Rowe will be using a rain gauge Amy went over the permitted sites and important things to remember:  Pay attention to the east side of -L-, there has more drainage and is a critical area  Orange fence needs to be put up prior to clearing  Site 1A dissipator: o make sure to clean out as it can often be filled with sediment o do not disturb the soil where an area requires hand clearing. Be sure to delineate between clearing and HC  Site 3: as Andy mentioned, the riprap must be embedded and also it should not be placed higher than the bottom of the pipe  Site 4: place orange fence around the entire site/blue area  Site 5: The pipe culvert must be placed at grade, and if excavation is needed to place it, fill back in to the natural excavation.  Site 6: remove concrete ditch  NPDES Rain gauge- check every day except state and federal holidays, unless you are working  24 hour notice if a violation is discovered  This is a project in a very public area do it’s even more important to be on top of things 1 Let us know if there are any questions.
