Hi Sue,
As shared on a call yesterday the status of the GRMS baseline sampling is a follows:
• 39 applications were received as of 2/4/22
• 33 of 39 were sampled as of 2/4/22. As shared in our conversation, an attempt to sample the
remaining six was made however they were unable to be sampled for the following reasons:
O 2021-0000006; 8708607893 - Appears vacant, could not find spigot
O 2022-0000003; 8717969801 - Appears vacant, no power
O 2022-0000007; 8717950680 - Appears to be a duplicate of 2022-0000164;
8727050151, which was sampled (We double checked and could not find a second
well)
O 2022-00000165; 8708721231 - Appears vacant, could not find spigot
O 2022-00000233; 8708713423 - Appears vacant, could not find spigot
O 2022-20000040; 8708711767 - Empty lot, next to 2022-239; 8708619799, which was
sampled
Although you acknowledged we have satisfied NCDEQ and fulfilled the baseline sampling
requirements, coordination is intended to be made with Randolph County to provide follow-up
correspondence with the owners of the six wells that could not be sampled. The correspondence will
likely be to note the attempt was made and potentially offer an alternative; albeit not one that would
impact the timing of the construction schedule.
Thank you,
Wendee
