Dear Mr. Vinson,
This response is to the Notice of Violation generated by your office dated December 29 2021.
On Wednesday December 29 2021, sewer collections staff were out checking aerials and high priority collection lines
and found a manhole (10055) spilling.
Sewer collections staff was able to access the downstream manhole 10217, That manhole was not backed up or
flowing. The crew was able to get the sewer jetter hose into that manhole and jet towards the blockage. Once the
blockage had been removed there was visible evidence of grease in the line They were able to remove the blockage
and get the spill stopped in 64 mins from the time that the SSO was found.
The area was cleaned to state requirements and the creek was flushed thoroughly with opening fire hydrants
upstream.
