This project is an NRCS Emergency Watershed Protection Project that falls under 7 CFR Part 624. The project includes
sediment removal, bank stabilization, and stream restoration across two (2) sites within Duplin County. Both sites should
experience positive environmental effects via water quality enhancements, repair of bank failures, and stabilization of
currently eroding banks. Any construction shall be done in a manner which avoids and minimizes adverse effects to the
Waters of the United States.
