Harold Tharrington Wake Petroleum Company 2801-205 Glenwood Gardens Lane Raleigh, NC 27608 Subject: General Permit NCG510000 Certificate of Coverage NCG510182 Gresham's Landing Wake County Dear Permittee: The Division received your request to renew Certificate of Coverage (CoC) NCG510182 on October 5, 2016. This CoC renewal is issued pursuant to the requirements of North Carolina General Statute 143- 215.1 and the Memorandum of Agreement between North Carolina and the US Environmental Protection agency dated October 15, 2007. A copy of General Permit NCG510000 is enclosed. If any parts, measurement frequencies or sampling requirements contained in this permit are unacceptable to you, you have the right to request an individual permit by submitting an individual permit application. Unless such demand is made, this CoC shall be final and binding. The CoC is not transferable except after notice to the Division. You must notify the Division if you sell or otherwise transfer ownership of the permitted facility. The Division may require modification or reissuance of the CoC. If your facility ceases discharge of wastewater before the expiration date of this permit, contact the Regional Office listed below. Once discharge from your facility has ceased, this permit may be rescinded. This permit does not affect the legal requirements to obtain any other permit required by Federal, State, or Local government. Director, Division of Water Resources cc: Raleigh Regional Office NPDES file State of North Carolina I Environmental Quality I Water Resources 1617 Mail Service Center I Raleigh, NC 27699-1617 919 807 6391 919-807-6389 FAX https://deq. nagov/about/divisions/water-resources/water-resources-permits/wastewater-branch/npdes-wastewater-permits STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY DIVISION OF WATER RESOURCES GENERAL PERMIT NCG510000 CERTIFICATE OF COVERAGE NCG510182 TO DISCHARGE PETROLEUM CONTAMINATED GROUNDWATER AND SIMILAR WASTEWATERS UNDER THE NATIONAL POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM In compliance with the provision of North Carolina General Statute 143-215.1, other lawful standards and regulations promulgated and adopted by the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission, and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended, Wake Petroleum Company is hereby authorized to operate a groundwater remediation system for petroleum -contaminated groundwater or similar waste streams that will discharge treated wastewater from the Gresham's Landing NC Hwy 50 at Norwood Rd Raleigh Wake County to receiving waters designated as an unnamed tributary to Upper Barton Creek, a class WS-IV NSW stream in subbasin 03-04-01 of the Neuse River Basin. All discharges shall be in accordance with the effluent limitations, monitoring requirements, and other conditions set forth in Parts I, II, III and IV of General Permit NCG510000 as attached. This certificate of coverage shall become effective November 7, 2016. This Certificate of Coverage shall remain effective for the duration of the General Permit.
