Mr. Boss,
The Town of Waynesville WWTP was found to be in violation of permit in TSS monthly, BOD
weekly, and BOD monthly parameters for the month of December 2021. This is due to problems
occurring in the secondary clarifiers. The clarifier's guide wheels are breaking without any prior
signs of breakage. When these wheels fail it causes the clarifier assembly to trip out and stop
working. We are making every effort to stay on top of this issue and rectify the problem.
Additionally, we are collecting cost estimates from contractors to make necessary repairs to
make these more efficient until the plant upgrades can begin. Thank you for your continued
