The Longford Village project will consist of a total of 41 residential lots at completion. Nine (9) lots (Lots 33 thru 41) are proposed to be "Approved For Construction Only" at this time. The remaining 32 lots (Lots 1 thru 32) are requesting flow approval now. The proposed extension is to be funded by a private developer and constructed by a private utility contractor with state certification, in accordance with the approved Plans and Specifications. Upon completion and acceptance, the sewer collection system is to be dedicated to the Union County Public Works Department (UCPW) for operation and maintenance. Scope of Project: The project consists of approximately 1,744 linear feet of 8-inch sewer main, 2,742 linear feet of 12-inch sewer main, 24 manholes, and other appurtenances to serve forty-one (41) residential lots. All sewer main extensions will be located within the public street right-of-way or within dedicated utility easements, Anticipated Flow: It is anticipated that the Longford Village development will produce an average daily wastewater flow of approximately 11,685 gallons per day based on an estimated usage of 285 gallons per day per lot for 41 lots, Flow approval for 32 lots (9,120 gpd) is requested at this time, Application for approval for the 9 remaining lots will occur at some future date.
