Sullins, Director Division of Water Quality August 10, 2007 DWQ Project # 07-0453v2 Wake County Page 1 of 2 CERTIFIED MAIL: RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED Mr. Pablo Reiter Panther Rock, LLC 6736 Falls of Neuse Road Suite 201 Raleigh, NC 27615 Panther Rock Subdivision, Knightdale, NC UT to Neuse River [030402, 27-(22.5), C, NSW] REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION Dear Mr. Reiter: On July 5, 2007, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated July 3, 2007, to fill or otherwise impact 0.046 acres of 404/wetlands, 143 linear feet of perennial stream (113 permanent and 30 temporary impact), and 7,750 square feet of Zone 1 protected riparian buffers and 5,000 square feet of Zone 2 protected riparian buffers to construct the proposed residential subdivision. The DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require additional information in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the subject property. Therefore, unless. we receive the additional information requested below, we will have to move toward denial of your application as required by 15A NCAC 2H .0506 and will place this project on hold as incomplete until we receive this additional information. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your project. Additional Information Requested: Please include a detailed site plan (scale 1" = 100' or larger) that depicts the following: - Lot boundaries - Lot numbers, - The stormwater drainage system (including all stormwater outfalls), - Drainage area boundaries, - Locations of streams, wetlands and buffers, - The boundary of Phase I and the boundaries of future phases. 2. Drawing S-2 shows the BMP as a dry detention basin, but the worksheet submitted was for a wet detention basin. 3. Please provide detailed plans for the detention basin and the level spreader. The level spreader worksheet states that a 56' level spreader will be provided; however, the plan at the end of the application shows a 13' level spreader. Please correct this discrepancy. 5. Please provide a signed and notarized operation and maintenance agreement for the detention basin. Please respond within three weeks of the date of this letter by sending this information to me in writing and Lauren Cobb of the DWQ Raleigh Regional Office. If we do not hear from you within three weeks, we will assume that you no longer want to pursue this project and we will consider the project as withdrawn. This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters or protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your application are not authorized (at this time) by the DWQ.
