From: Mike Lcwoy Sent: Monday, March 10, 2014 4:18 IPM To: Fox, Tim Cc: Subject: RE: Haw Branch - Barnardsville Tim, We are asked to avoid working before April 151h, so really we would need the extension to last until June or July 151h. | figure it will take approximately 2 weeks to do the work and then another 30 days for vegetation to establish before we can do a final walk thru. That will put us out till early June at the earliest if everything goes perfect. I definitely want you to follow the trout moratorium condition. Let me know if we need to discuss anything as the project begins. I do want to look at sediment deposition in front of the culvert I received calls about. The good weather is not far off. I wanted to touch base with you on the project for Mr. Banks Property. We are in the process of bidding it out as we speak, and I noticed on the your approval the deadline is April 1, 2014. 1 was wondering if we could get an extension on that. The main reason for this is because the USACOE approval from Tosha states that Channel or stream bank work should be avoided between Jan and April 15 th due to rainbow trout spawning downstream of the site. If I need to write you a formal letter requesting this let me know. Anything you can do on this would be a great help. I have enclosed the Permit Approvals in PDF for your records.
