I am currently reviewing the application and I have a few questions...
1. 1 understand that the proposal is for riprap along 80 ft. of shoreline but I need to know how much (square
footage) of the riprap is proposed for above the normal water level and below. This would be from looking at
the shoreline from an overhead view. You can send these to me via email. See the below example.

2. Also, the shoreline appears to have little slope with minimal bank height. I am not sure if Duke will allowjust
riprap for shorelines for bank heights less than 2 feet but please clarify with Duke. Banks of this height may
need bioengineering techniques or enhanced riprap. I have copied to Duke representatives on this email so you
