'The plan proposes to restore a 2,820 ft. section of an unnamed tributary to Cutawhiskie Creek, p~•eserve a 2,790 ft. section of Cutawhiskie Creek, and to restore 13.1 acres and enhance 1.2 acres of riparian wetland. Appropriate vegetation will be planted in the restored wetland and alo+ig the stream's riparian corridor. Successful completion of the project will iirnprove water quality by protecting aquatic resources both orisite and downstream of the project through reductions in nutrient and sediment inputs frorn adjacent agricultural land, and by providing a more natural habitat both along the stream corridor and in the restored wetland. The Ecosystem Enhancement Program {EEP) has completed its review of the restoration plan and has no additional comments at this time. Please proceed with acquiring all necessary permits andlor certifications and complete the implementation of the earthwork portion of the mitigation project {Task 4}. A copy of this letter should be included with your 401/404 permit applicaEions. For the purpose of obtaining approval of the erosion and sedimentation control plan for #his project, I have also attached a metnorandurn confirming that Restoration Systems, LLC is the Owner and F inancialiy Responsible Party, and has firli operational control for all matters pertaining to construction of this project. Please sign and attach tltiis memorandum to the Financial Responsibility/Ownership form of the erosion and sedimentation control plan application. Failure to do so may delay approval of the plan.
