Sullins Governor Director September 7, 2010 Dr. Arnold Sobol, Member Manager Aftew Properties, LLC 2020 S. Churchill Drive Wilmington, NC 28403 Subject: Approved Plan Revision The Village at Motts Landing Stormwater Project No. SW8 030917 New Hanover County Dear Dr. Sobol: Dee Freeman Secretary On August 3, 2010, the Wilmington Regional Office received a plan revision for Stormwater Management Permit Number SW8 030917. The revisions include enlarging the proposed storage building by 144 sf, and moving it north, closer to the clubhouse. In opposition, the concrete pool deck will now have angled corners to match the tennis court fence, thus reducing the impervious area by 152 sf, creating a net 8 sf reduction in total impervious area. It has been determined that a formal permit modification is not required for the proposed changes. We are forwarding you an approved copy of the revised plans for your files. Please add the attached plans to the previously approved plan sheets. Please be aware that all terms and conditions of the permit issued on August 22, 2008 remain in full force and effect. Please also understand that the approval of this revision to the approved plans for the subject State Stormwater Permit is done on a case -by -case basis. Any other changes to this project must be approved through this Office prior to construction. The issuance of this plan revision does not preclude the permittee from complying with all other applicable statutes, rules, regulations or ordinances which may have jurisdiction over the proposed activity, and obtaining a permit or approval prior to construction. If you have any questions concerning this matter, please do not hesitate to call Georgette Scott or me at (910) 796-7215. Sincerely, Steve G. We have enlarged the proposed storage building by 144 sf and shifted it north, closer to the clubhouse. In addition, the concrete pool deck is now proposed to have angled corners to match the tennis court fence. This reduces the square footage of the concrete pool deck by 152 sf, creating a net reduction of 8 sf of impervious area. We are requesting that these changes be accepted as a plan revision.
