of the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission who is responsible for the dam's
maintenance and liability. There are two dams on this river whose removal is being planned;
please note that this submittal is for the Lower dam (designated with an "A" in the State
Construction File number). A second submittal for the Upper dam (designated with a `B ") will
be-submitted in the near future.
