Attached please find the requested EPA NPDES Permitting Forms 1 and 2E. This facility has five outfalls (001 through 005) and also is required to collect an upstream sample and a downstream sample. In September 2021, we added BOD5 and Ammonia (as N) to our monthly sampling requirements in order to complete Form 2, Section 4.2 for each outfall. In September 2021, we were unable to collect a sample from Outfalls 003 and 005 due to lack of flow at the outfalls. Therefore, we do not have BOD5 and Ammonia (as N) results for these two outfalls. Should we get a flow from Outfalls 003 and 005 in October, we will have the surface water samples analyzed for these additional parameters. We are also lacking temperature and pH for the sampling locations. These field parameters will be noted during the monthly October 2021 sampling event. We will submit a revised Form 2E once these analytical results and field parameters are obtained. If you or a representative from your department would like to inspect this tank during the degassing operation or if you should have any questions, please contact me at 704-458-3993 or John Wyatt, Southeast District Associated Environmental Manager, at 423-713-9270.
