Ridge View has taken these steps: While lowering the chlorine dosage to pass the Toxicity Ridge View exceeded their Fecal Coliform limit on 11/09/21. The Toxicity also failed. Ridge View will continue sampling until they isolate and eliminate the toxin. Additionally the Operator met the local State inspectorxinda Wiggs on site to discuss options for resolving the issue. In December the system sampled a second Toxicity (process control) above chlorine contact to isolate the issue further. It also failed. At collection the chlorine was sampled from this toxicity sample container with a result of 16 ug/L (parts per billion) or less by the Operator. Upon delivery to the lab Kelley(ETS) found no chlorine residual. Jim (ETS) found an oxidizer present after 24 hours. This has been the case since August 2021. The location of this sampling and Novembers regular scheduled Toxicity proves the oxidant is not added by the Operator or the Owner. Another letter has been delivered to the tenants recommending a 10% bleach cleaning solution only. Interviews have begun with about 20% of tenants. Please allow us time and resources to remedy this problem in lieu of a possible fine. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated. If I can be of further assistance please do not hesitate to call. Sincerely, 6VL Trevor C. McMinn
