A copy of the discharge monitoring report has been uploaded to the eDMR system. Samples from Outfall 2 collected during the April 2021 semi-annual sampling event exceeded the benchmark values for chemical oxygen demand (COD) and pH for the second consecutive monitoring period. In response to the consecutive benchmark value exceeclances, the County implemented Tier I and 2 responses. No measurable storm events occurred during normal operating hours in November. Per the Tier 2 response requirements, samples will be collected monthly from Outfall 2 for all parameters until three consecutive sampling events show the parameters are below the benchmark values or reprieve from sampling is granted as requested in the quarterly report for July I — September 30, 2021. The County will continue to maintain a record of the Tier I and 2 responses and monitoring results at the landfill. If you have any questions or require further explanation, do not hesitate to call me at (919) 325-3532. Sincerely, ' V/1 Aaron M. Weispfenning, P.E.
