The Division of Water Resources received the Year 5 Monitoring Report for the above - referenced site,
dated December 2013.
Based on review of the monitoring report, the stream appears to generally be stable, with two minor areas
of concern (aggradation) noted.
Vegetation monitoring indicated that all plots exceeded the performance standard of 260 stems per acre in
year 5. The report does indicate that a supplemental planting occurred in February 2012. Invasives are
present at the site and have been treated in the past. As this is year 5, it is assumed that the site will be
closed out this year. EEP should assess the invasives at the site this spring and conduct additional
treatment /removal activities as needed.
Based on the information presented in the monitoring report, the buffers along the stream appear to be
narrower than 50 feet on some portions of the site. Since site was instituted after implementation of the
2003 Stream Mitigation Guidelines, the IRT may require some credit adjustment based on areas of buffer
less than 50 feet wide.

comments.
