Request:
Balfour Beatty would like to request a two-week time extension for the in-water moratorium slated to begin
February 151". 2022. There have been multiple hurdles that have impacted the project schedule for Structures
5/6 including permitting conflicts, Covid related personnel disruptions, and material supply disruptions related
to Covid. BBII has tried to overcome the schedule and material conflicts by implementing a night shift and
working both crews 7 days a week.
The two-week time extension would allow the installation of all necessary production pile, and trestle for
substructure construction to continue without interruption.
Please advise if the request for time extension is acceptable.
