Following DOTs consultation with the NCWRC and their response, the Corps finds DOTs
request to have merit. As such, you may consider this email transmission as official approval to
allow your contractor to perform in-water work for a two week period (until March 2, 2022) as
a deviation from the standard in-water work moratorium start date of February 15. There are
no other clearances needed from the Corps for this action request.
