Charles Howell with AZP called at 4:46pm today (1-20-22) to report a sheen observed in Basin one at the above subject
facility. They observed the sheen at approximately 4:00 pm today. AZP closed the outlet valve of Basin 1 but did
observe small amount of sheen at the outlet into the river. No observed sheen had migrated down river. I requested
that if any sheen remained at the outlet that they place booms to contain it. The proposed plan is to skim the basin to
remove the product emitting the sheen and bring basin 1 back into service upon qualitative verification of removal. If
weather allows Mike Smith will go o the site tomorrow for a follow up inspection.
