The Division of Water Resources (DWR) does not object to the one-time maintenance event by
agitation dredging conducted on 1/20/2022. The DWR supports the any recommendations by the
resource agencies regarding moratoriums, timing of tides, etc. to avoid water resource and water
quality impacts. Future project requests should reference DWR project number 20052010 for the
southern terminal off River Road.
As a side note the DWR project number 20170867 has been assigned to the northern terminal
located off 6th Street and should be referenced in any future requests for the site.
Please feel free to call or email me if you have any questions or I can be of assistance to you in any
way.
Sincerely,
Holley Snider .• "Th,><((((2>•' '•.,,..><((((°>..,-

All,
Kinder Morgan River Road respectfully request the opportunity to conduct an emergency dredge at
out terminal. The area needed is approximately 50' wide by 200' long. The terminal has seen recent
sediment build up in this area due to dredging occurring up the Cape Fear River. The terminal will
have a new vessel calling on the dock 1/20/2022; the ETA is expected to be later in the evening. The
entire dredge operation should last no longer than a few hours and will be conducted by agitation
dredge.
Our permit number is (172-05).
Thanks,
Darren Goodman
