Michael,

I’m in the process of reviewing your application for the replacement of Bridge No. 15 over Chicod Creek On S.
Grimesland Rd in Pitt County. I will need the following information before I can finish processing your request:
 Based on the amount of proposed buffer impacts, written approval will be required. The application was signed
by the consultant therefore I will need an agent authorization letter.
 How is stormwater being collected/routed off the bridge and discharged?
 More extensive hand clearing is shown in the wetlands and buffers in the NE quad at Site 2. Why is this needed
and can the amount of HC be reduced?
 A roadside ditch with a 2:1 front slope and 3:1 back slope is shown in the buffer in the NW and SE quads. Can
this be redesigned for 3:1 front and back slopes?
