Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project: The layout and design of the subdivision was carefully planned to minimize wetland and stream impacts, while at the same time maximizing the potential of the project. Proposed road crossing will occur at the edge of the wetlands. Centerline of road has been offset and will be a private road at the cost of the developer in order to minimize impacts to the wetlands as much as possible, while still maintaining connecting road required by Onslow County Planning Department. 1 b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques: Limit disturbance areas to minimal needed for equipment and installation. Work to be done in periods of dry weather. Work to be completed in minimal time necessary. Headwalls have been designed for the culver crossings to minimize impact length.
