Enclosed please find a copy of the Compliance Evaluation Inspection form from the inspection
conducted on 1/17/2017. The Compliance Evaluation Inspection was conducted by Johnathan Watts,
Environmental Specialist, of the Fayetteville Regional Office. The facility was found to be in Compliance
with permit NCG500189.
As part of the inspection, a tour of the plant was conducted. All observations are in Section D. Summary
of Findings/Comments of this report. You are commended for your initiative and proactive approach for
documentation and monitoring. I appreciate the time and professional courtesy that you extended
during the inspection. As a reminder, preservation of the Waters of the State can only be achieved
through consistent NPDES Permit compliance.

Enclosed you wilt find a copy of the Compliance Evaluation Inspection report for the routine inspection
that was conducted on January 10, 2017 by Johnathan Watts of the Fayetteville Regional Office, at the
Tillery Hydroelectric Station. The purpose of the inspection was to evaluate compliance with the
requirements of the Wastewater General Permit NCG500000 series. As part of the inspection, a tour
of the plant was conducted and semi-annual sample records were examined from March 2013 to
November 2016. On the day of the inspection, this facility was found to be in compliance with the
requirements of the permit. You are commended for your initiative and proactive approach for the
documentation and on site monitoring. I appreciate the time and professional courtesy that you
