Skvarla, III Secretary The Division of Water Resources received the Year 1 Monitoring Report for the above - referenced site, dated July 2013. Based on review of the monitoring report, the stream work conducted at this site consisted of Enhancement 1 and 2. According to the report, the channels appear to be fairly stable, and no significant problem areas were noted. The report indicates that a supplemental planting effort was conducted in December 2012 due to low stem counts. Monitoring data for 2013 show that two plots (7 and 8) out of 8 did not meet interim performance standards. The survival and growth of the planted stems is a concern, and this site needs to be closely monitored to ensure successful revegetation of the site. The report indicates that individual stems of multiflora rose and Chinese privet were observed throughout the site, but at very low densities. These invasive populations need to be carefully monitored so that they do not affect planted vegetation at the site.
